Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of America's Health Centers in Orlando!

This past weekend, I was fortunate to participate in the 50th Anniversary of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Annual Conference and Expo. The event was rich with opportunities to network, learn best practices, and share information with thousands of other community health center staff and board members, healthcare experts and exhibitors from across the nation.

While there, I was able to meet with key NACHC organizers and stakeholders to start a dialogue about how NCUIH and NACHC can partner to benefit NCUIH’s Urban Indian Health Program members and the communities they serve. The visit was well received and NCUIH is following up to discuss strategies for future collaboration efforts.

The mission of NACHC is to promote the provision of high quality, comprehensive and affordable health care that is coordinated, culturally and linguistically competent, and community directed for all medically under-served populations.
