NCUIH President sees value of improving relationships with key federal agencies

NCUIH Board President and leadership staff from the National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH) have had successful meet-and-greet meetings with select federal agencies in the Washington DC area during the past month.  The meetings have been a great opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, explore common strategic initiatives, provide a briefing on NCUIH's legislative priorities, and discuss resources and services. NCUIH also provided an overview of the organization's long-range goals and a status update on challenges and progress that Urban Indian Health Programs (UIHPs) are experiencing in the 21 states where we are located.


The following are three federal agencies that NCUIH has recently met with that have programs/services that can benefit your healthcare program and the community you serve:
